Cumbria - the Lake District

With its 16 lakes, the Lake District covers an area of 2292 square kilometers and is best loved for its variety and magnificent landscapes. Offering high fells, rocky crags, lush green fields and tranquil lakes, (Windermere being the longest in England) Cumbria never fails to leave a lasting impression.
